Biography

Dylan is a tuba performance major at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, and a music educator in the greater Pittsburgh area. Dylan performs with the Baldwin Wallace Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and Brass Choir. Additionally, Dylan is an chamber music performer.

 

Dylan currently studies with Dr. Ken Heinlein (principal tuba, Erie Philharmonic, Akron Symphony, Westmoreland Symphony). Previous teachers include Yasuhito Sugiyama, Craig Knox, W. Craig Sutherland, and Zach Collins. 

 

Dylan is also a bassist, performing with the BW Jazz Ensemble, in the pit orchestra of BWMT productions of Pippin and Jesus Christ Superstar. Dylan has also performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Music Box, and the Grog Shop in Cleveland, OH. Dylan studied bass with Dave Traugh, bassist with Lindsay Dragan, and Bob Insko, who has played with many bands throughout Pittsburgh and internationally with acts such as Harry Connick Jr. and The Temptations.
