Biography

Dylan is a tuba performance major at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, and a music educator in the greater Pittsburgh area. Dylan performs with the Baldwin Wallace Symphonic Wind Ensemble, as well as in brass quintets, brass choir, tuba/euphonium ensemble, and tuba/euphonium quartets.

 

Dylan currently studies with Dr. Ken Heinlein of the Erie Philharmonic and Akron Symphony. Previous teachers include Dr. Zach Collins (Principal Tuba, Altoona Symphony Orchestra), W. Craig Sutherland (Principal Tuba, Rochester Philharmonic), and Prof. David Zerkel (University of Michigan)

 

Also an electric bassist, Dylan plays with the BW Jazz Ensemble, and has previously performed in the pit orchestra of the BWMT productions of Pippin and Jesus Christ Superstar. Dylan has also performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Grog Shop in Cleveland, OH. Dylan studied bass with Dave Traugh, bassist with Lindsay Dragan, and Bob Insko, who has played with many bands throughout Pittsburgh and internationally with acts such as Harry Connick Jr. and The Temptations.
